Greetings to my future, present, and past students & parents:

I arrived here in Jacksonville, North Carolina via the military from Chicago, Illinois. I am married with three children two boys and a girl, we have resided here since 2002. I received my MBA in July of 2012 from the University of Phoenix, I am a National Board Certified Teacher with a bachelor's degree in Business Management from National University, my teaching certification is from East Carolina University in Business Education.  I also hold associate degrees in Business Administration, and Liberal Arts Education from Miramar Community College in San Diego, California. I have corporate business experience, thus I am knowledgeable about the information you will be learning and can bring rigor and relevance. I have been a teacher and the Head Coach of the Varsity Cheerleading team  here at White Oak, since the 2003-2004 school year. Over the years I have learned and expanded my knowledge of teaching through furthering my education, and coaching skills which has allowed me to have an impact on the lives of my students and athletes.  My goal is to ensure success for all of my students and create life long learners.
