Welcome to White Oak High School for the 2012-2013 school year. I look forward to working with you this coming year. White Oak High School has a tradition of excellence in academics, the arts and athletics.
Setting high goals and mapping out your plan to achieve this is imperative to success. Our counselors, teachers and office staff are here to assist with any questions. Daily attendance in all classes is the first step toward achieving success. Multiple absences can place stumbling blocks in the road to future plans. Start now by making a commitment to attend daily and on time.
I encourage you to get involved in the numerous activities, clubs, and athletic programs offered at White Oak High School. Being involved in school activities helps establish connections with fellow classmates and the staff and enhances your overall experience. It offers you an opportunity to express yourself and help make your academic career enlightening and enjoyable.
We are a Wall to Wall Academy High School. Every student enrolled at White Oak High School is part of an academy of their choice based on their interests. We offer a Freshmen Academy for all Freshmen, Art, Humanities, HAHSA and Technology Academies for Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors. We are also a mobile learning school. We have Netbooks for all of our Freshmen Algebra I students to use at school and at home. Our school is totally wireless and we encourage students touse their technology in their academic courses through our BOYT0Bring Your Own Technology program..

What a tragedy if that moment finds you unprepared or unqualified for work which could have been your finest hour.” At White Oak High School we will strive to provide the opportunities for you to be prepared to reach your highest potential.
